Enchanted whelp crests are used to increase the basic crafting levelling recipes, not the spark ones. It doesn’t require a spark to make a whelpling crest 447. The equivalent last season took those same recipes to 408. Most didn’t have use for that because the ilvl jump from 10.0 to 10.1 wasn’t as large. Ah.A thread on r/wow talked about how the whelp enchanted crest is more efficient than upgrading gear up to 408ilvl manually, so this may be worth your while to advertise what it can actually do. I certainly plan to get quite a few to gear an alt to 408. (Needs the 343ilvl blue recipes instead of the epic ones)
