G35 Sedan 2003-06 High idle problems. Jump to Latest Follow ... After replacing the studs and gasket in my TB, I reset the ECU, cleared codes, and attempted the idle relearn yet again. The CEL popped right back on and wouldn?t relearn the new idle. I read the code again, and this time it popped up with P1084, exhaust valve timing sensor.
Here’s the process: Turn the ignition on, but don’t start the vehicle. Press and hold the accelerator pedal for about 15 seconds.
